Global Trade Finance Network deeply regrets the unexpected passing of its revered Chairman, Mr. Rodney D. Galpin, on 6 October 2011 in the United Kingdom. Mr. Galpin's accomplishments include having been the Chairman and CEO of Standard Chartered Bank and Executive Director of the Bank of England. He was a man of foresight and vision, with a far reaching understanding of the value and meaning of innovation and life. His stalwart support of GTFNet was a guiding light and consistent source of strength for all involved with Global Trade Finance Network.
